The skid loader was running fine in the fuel pump went out of it so I replaced it. It started and ran OK but the second fuel pump went out pretty quickly. I replace a second fuel pump and realize there was a pinched line. I have a mustang 320 skid loader (same as John Deere 90), the book says it is cable of lifting 800lbs. When I first start it up I can lift anything just fine, then within the next 10 seconds I can only lift around 300 lbs. If I wiggle the lift peddle back and forth I can lift a little more but only about an inch at a time. A brother-in-law is looking at a 1700 Mustang skid loader. This one has a V-4 Ford gas engine and has a torque converter. I believe the torque converter is used for the variable speed. The person trying to sell it said, "The throttle on the right hand grip doesn't work right." Does anyone have any experience with this type of loader? I recently brought home a mustang 960 skid steer with a Isuzu 4jb1pk-02 engine from my grandpas, it sat there in a barn for 10 years. I brought it home, and found the fuel filter housing was plugged, after I cleaned it out it wouldn't throttle up past 1/4 throttle.

rat/rod i agree with ken, 25 h.p. thank you. boomer ( the used onan engine parts guy) "1980 bobcat 610 skid steer, gas powered, fan cooled model recent tires, good condition needs a little work. 00 Obo." rough looking Bobcat M700 (Pics 3&4) "m700 aux hydralics 2spd rough looking needs carb cleaning just fixed alt replaced few hydralic o rings tires good detach bucket good little machine has v 4 wisconsin /could use paint 2500 . Working on a 320 skid steer 15 years old ,it has a heavy violent hydraulic chatter on hoist cylinder lower and seems to be restricted on hoist cylinder up . Noticed bucket curl/dump have also the same issue just no chattering . In playing around i notice pulling the pressure release cable allows operation to return to normal .

Going to look at a 1988 Case 1825 skid steer tomorrow. He's asking 00. He says the machine runs great and the only issue is one hydraulic line going to the cooler seaps a little. It has 2900 hours on it which I'd say is pretty low considering its age. Comes with original bucket modified to be bigger and another aftermarket bucket. I have been chasing the same issue with my JD 320 for a few years now. I can mow my entire lawn in the spring but it begins to overheat as the weather gets warmer and the summer goes on. I had it worked on in the past and found a hold in the hose connecting the water pump to the block that was drawing air. I've never put one on a skid steer, but did put one on a Cub Cadet last Spring. Actually pretty simple, remove 3 bolts, then pull off the crankshaft. Mine came off fairly easy, with a little jiggling. New one went back on pretty easy, but, spring tension was about half of what it .
