As someone looking to add a skid steer on a modest budget to the farm, I've found several Mustang's in my price range but I'm leary based on lack of positive reviews.

One thing I don't like about Mustangs is that the hydraulic tank is in the belly of the machine.

Just bought this one as a project and the only major problem is it seems to lock up on the left hand drive after walking it about 40 feet, hydraulics are strong on the bucket area so that checks out, almost seems like a brake or something is jammed, could walk it about 5 ft and it only got worse, Have a shop manual coming but might not be here f. The same dealer has 2 mid 90's Mustang brand skid steers that are priced about 00 less than the Case and have lower hours and appear to be in great shape. New tires, tight pins, no weld repairs, no leaks, good hoses, not banged up, and clean paint. I am going to look at a used mid-1990's Mustang 940 for sale (asking 00). Are these overall good machines and relatively easy to work on? Are the parts still available? What should I look for specifically when checking out a used unit?
