I've loaded the machine + 1-4 attachments in the dump trailer and gone to the job where we loaded debris into dump trailer, dropped loaded dump, then came back & picked up machine & attachments w/ the dedicated mini skid trailer .

The ditchwitch Mx9 is a mini-ex weighing 900 kilos or JUST under 2,000 lbs. and a machine width of 34 inches (yes, even cooler). When I say, between a shovel and mini skid steer, I mean a something that doesn't require a truck/trailer to haul a 2500lb ,000 machine. The goal is to load a wheelbarrow with less time and effort of a manual shovel. I'm surprised there isn't a mechanically assisted shovel out there.

I have regretted buying a mini skid steer But only because I should have bought a better one Stay away from older bobcat Mt 50s Get a 52 or a 55 Don't get any Mt 50 I really like the dingo Everything about dingo I like But we're a bobcat company So we're probsbly going to get an Mt 85 I think it's like 40 grand I used to have A 8x16x4 Anderson gooseneck dump with slide in ramps. It was a nice setup but it was hard on a one ton truck. Now I run a 7x14x2 load trail with slide in ramps.The thing you have to realize is the amount of weight you end up pulling. Trailer = 5000 lbs Skid steer=7-8000 lbs Other attachments=1-2000 lbs.
