There are "all terrain" skid steers with large wheels. My tree service uses a Bobcat (brand) ATSS. ATSS is much more stable laden and unladed than my Kubota tractor/loader. Also CTL (Compact Track Loader) a Skid Steer with tracks in .
Skid steer attachments are very expensive compared to tractor implements. I haven't priced any lately but a rotary cutter for your brush, weeds, and thick saplings may cost 00 or 5000, compared to 00 or 2000 for a 6 ft. tractor bushhog. It’s not as good of loader as a CTL and you’ve gained the maintenance cost of tracks and lost the speed and low destruction of wheels.

If you want to power a skid steer implement it is in front 99% of the time and the implement is always powered off the skid steer hydraulic system. (Know anything about hydraulic systems?) No choice in tire sizes, very little in tire types. Rough on the operator due to short wheel base, small wheels and hard tires; tracks WORSE.
Looking to pickup a brush cutter for my Bobcat 763 High Flow. We have 10 acres that we looking to clear for 2 home lots. Not terribly overgrown or thick but certainly a lot of small trees and brush. Local Bob Cat dealer has a used 2014 66" Brush Cat 2-Motors/Blades with High Flow for 00 Or. I have a set of used tracks that a local dealer let me bring home but they seem to wide for the tires and with the wheels out as far as I can get them they will rub. So if anyone knows all about tracks on the L555 please leave me a comment any and all opinions are helpful.
