Hello I bought an older Ford skid steer the seller said it was a 370 model but has 340 painted on the side. It was also re-powered by a Ford 4 cylinder LQ motor as well so thats different. It has a bad wheel bearing so that needs to be fixed and was hoping someone here could help on how to remove/replace it, how to identify what I need for a . I'm thinking of repowerining with a chonda 22hp v-twin engine. I had some questions. First of all, how do you guys feel about repowering a tired 30hp with a new 22hp ? Second was, my machine has a foot throttle.
My skid steer seems to work well when first cranked as far as going forwards and backwards and turning. After 10 minutes or so after it warms up, the right drive motor seems to get weak and not pull the same as the left drive motor. It also sounds like I can hear fluid bypassing somewhere. My. The CL40 (ford branded) is basically the same frame/hydraulics as my 30 and it uses a 4 cyl water cooled ford engine (picture attached). What is interesting is that the CL40 doesn't use a foot throttle, which makes me wonder if the valves are a little different or if I'm just used to moving the sticks and then adding power. -- Joe I need to replace the tilt cylinder pins on an old Ford CL40 Skid Steer. Parts are no longer available! So, I'm trying to find a chart of tilt cylinder pins so that I can locate a replacement based on size. Does anyone know of a chart? The pins are 1-1/4" diameter by 3-1/2" long and have the flange on them.

I have a tractor that uses the skid steer quick attach mounting system on the end of the loader. I want to make a snow plow for the tractor similar to this one HERE. I can buy a quick attach plate for around 200 beans but they look so simple to make. I don't have the exact dimensions. I need a one that looks like THIS.

I am making a quick attach for my FEL on my tractor and was wondering if anyone new the specs on it. I put the pins on 33 inch centers and I came up with 40 degrees for the bottom bend where the pin goes through and 45 degrees for the angle at the top of the quick attach. I had around 15.
